FAQs

What is the difference between lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds?

Lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds. They are real diamonds, created in a controlled laboratory environment instead of forming naturally underground over millions of years.

The main difference is their origin. Natural diamonds are mined from the earth, while lab-grown diamonds are created using advanced technology that replicates the natural diamond-forming process.

Lab-grown diamonds offer the same brilliance, sparkle, and durability as natural diamonds, while often being more accessible in price. This makes them a beautiful choice for those who want high-quality diamond jewelry with modern value.

What is the gold content difference between 10K solid gold and 14K solid gold?

This topic creates much confusion among gold‑jewelry shoppers.

Karat (K) indicates the percentage of pure gold mixed with other alloy metals. Both 10K and 14K are real solid gold, not plated or filled jewelry.
  • 10K Solid Gold: 41.7% pure gold + 58.3% alloy metals (copper, silver, zinc etc.)
  • 14K Solid Gold: 58.3% pure gold + 41.7% alloy metals
  • 14K contains a higher proportion of pure gold, resulting in a richer, warmer golden hue.
  • 10K is harder and more scratch‑resistant, making it ideal for pieces intended for heavy everyday wear.
Every product we sell is physically stamped with a “10K” or “14K” purity mark to certify that it is made of pure gold. 10K and 14K are designed to suit different wearing preferences and occasions.

Do lab-grown diamonds need special care?

Lab-grown diamonds are highly durable and easy to care for, just like natural diamonds. However, proper maintenance can help keep their brilliance and sparkle looking beautiful over time.

Cleaning:
Lab-grown diamonds can collect dirt, oils, and residue from daily wear, which may make them appear less brilliant. Clean them regularly with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush or cloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals:
While lab-grown diamonds are very durable, harsh chemicals can damage the metal setting or leave buildup on the stone. Avoid exposing your jewelry to bleach, chlorine, strong household cleaners, and beauty products such as perfumes or lotions.

Storage:
Store your lab-grown diamond jewelry separately from other pieces to help prevent scratches or damage to the setting. A soft pouch or lined jewelry box is ideal.

Check Settings:
Occasionally check the prongs and settings to make sure the diamond is secure. If you notice any looseness, we recommend having it professionally inspected.

Professional Cleaning:
For a deeper clean or to restore maximum brilliance, professional cleaning can help keep your lab-grown diamond jewelry looking its best.

With proper care, your lab-grown diamond jewelry can maintain its sparkle, beauty, and durability for years to come.
